What's a clan without members right?
One thing that I did manage to archive fairly well was an exhaustive list of all of the member's we have had in =GoM=. Originally clan members were also given (or chose) an alias. The alias was a name that they could use during match play to confuse opponents that may have been watching or studying that player's style. All of the aliases had to be the name of a mythological god to coincide with the clan theme. The idea never really caught on and eventually just sort of fell to the wayside.
Some examples of this are DeathAngel/Ahriman (god of darkness), M1/Ghede (voodoo god of death), Feedback/Seker (god of deception), Ayahuasca/Thor (god of thunder), Astrocreep/Inubus (Greek god of death) and Sin/Kronos (Greek ruler of the bottomless pit)
Trivia: Maraxus (an original member of GM) did not take on an alias as his name already means the "lord of Chaos.
Another original member was Slayer aka Vacious who later went on to join the [T2K] clan as Vacious[T2K]. When she first joined the clan, she made me to believe that she was a he. For the first month or two of her membership, I thought she was a guy by the name of Jason (who was actually her fiance/soon to be husband). Turns out that she got tired of hearing male players complain when they found out they got beat by a girl so she found it easier to just play as "one of the guys."Anyway, when she finally owned up to her identity, we had to come up with a more feminine sounding name other than slayer. After much research, I found the name Vacious and she liked it enough to take it for herself. As mentioned earlier, she went on to become one of the most well recognized, skilled and respected players in the quake 2 game and kept her name. A fact that I am somewhat proud of! };-> We have remained friends to this current day. Her alias was Aryn, the lordess of air and magic or the lightning lordess (I bet she don't even remember that) };->
Listed below is a complete list (to my best recollection) of all of our current and past members as of Feb 2010- =GoM= was comprised of a lot of FFA players that just wanted to clan up but also had its fair share of other clans members join up. We have had [SDH], [T2K], =UD=, [A6], [CK] and {AOA} members join us just to name a few and are quite proud of the fact that they have worn our tags. Some of them go back to 1998 or earlier like Kxaxk aka Atom Ant[SDH] and Booze=UD=
